I was going to write this trip up, but I ended up in Kitzbuhel Hospital Casualty Dept. being stitched back together at the end of the first day. I binned it coming down the Hahnekamm and landed on my head. I was even more dazed than normal after this, so I didn't get around to writing anything.

I was wearing a helmet , as I have done for the last ten years. When I crashed it at about 15 mph and landed on my head the helmet was compressed to half it's thickness and split in two. I ended up in hospital with 3 stitches in my chin which I ripped open, concussion and a cut up nose. This was the first time I had cause to test my helmet. If I hadn't been wearing a helmet it would have been a lot less amusing, so use one, no matter how good you think you are!
