This was a long weekend mountain biking trip to Kirchberg,
near Kitzbuhel, in Austria. There were no major disasters like last years
visit when I ended up in Kitzbuhel casualty dept. Phil got to try out his
new Cannondale with disc brakes in anger with some interesting results.
The weather was perfect for cycling and there
was a street fair, complete with band, going on down in Kirchberg village
which added to the atmosphere.
The last day saw Phil & myself cycle up
the Kitzbuhel Horn ( the bottom right photo). It starts at 800 metres above
sea level & finishes at 2000 metres. It took nearly two hours for me to
ascend the thing, but it felt good when I got to the top.
