Photos of an RAF National Serviceman
1951-1954

These are photographs taken from the albums of my father, Martin Armstrong, from when he served in the Royal Air Force 1951 - 1954. They cover his initial training, through his trade as an Air Traffic Controller at RAF Cranwell then various stations in Malaya during the "Emergency" in the same role. His period in the RAF was one he always spoke of with deep affection. He is sadly no longer with us.
